These Terms govern your use of Thai Boxer Companion (the "app"), developed and operated by an individual developer ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Thai Boxer Companion is an educational and fitness app for learning the Thai language and practicing Muay Thai techniques, including lessons, spaced-repetition vocabulary review, guided writing practice, 3D move demonstrations, workout programs, and optional AI-assisted feedback on your form and pronunciation.

Health and Fitness Disclaimer

The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical, therapeutic, or professional coaching advice. Muay Thai and other physical training carry an inherent risk of injury. Consult a physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have an existing health condition.

The AI Coach Check-In and Pronunciation Practice features give automated, AI-generated feedback. This feedback is a training aid, not a substitute for a qualified coach or instructor, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You use this feedback, and perform any physical technique shown in the app, entirely at your own risk.

Your Content

When you use the AI Coach Check-In or Pronunciation Practice features, you submit photos or audio recordings. You retain ownership of anything you submit. We use that content only to generate the feedback you requested, through the third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy, and we do not store it afterward.

Don't submit photos or recordings of anyone who hasn't consented to that content being processed by our AI providers, and don't submit content that is illegal, infringing, or that depicts anyone other than yourself without their permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer the app beyond what applicable law permits, attempt to overload or abuse our servers or the third-party AI services behind the app's features, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features may require a paid subscription. Where offered, subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, renew automatically until cancelled, and are subject to those stores' own refund and billing policies - not ours. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

Intellectual Property

The app's design, code, lesson content, 3D models, and original artwork are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative apps from this content without permission.

Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services (including Anthropic and Microsoft Azure) to power specific features, and on the Apple App Store / Google Play Store for distribution and, where applicable, billing. We aren't responsible for those services' availability, accuracy, or their own terms - your use of them through our app is also subject to their own terms and policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated feedback will be accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any injury sustained while following training content shown in the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the app at our discretion.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
